See what’s left in every AI plan.
모든 AI 요금제의 남은 한도를 한눈에.
Subtank lives in your menu bar and reads the limits of every AI plan you pay for — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, Kilo, Ollama, OpenCode Go and your API keys — then tells you which account to use next.

01How it reads
It asks the tools you already use.
First launch opens no login window. Subtank looks at what is already signed in on this Mac, and adds nothing until you tick it.
-
Look
A read-only look around
A fixed list of places: whether Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Kilo and the GitHub CLI are signed in, and as whom. No network, no password, no vendor tool started.
-
Connect
Only what you tick
Each account is read by its vendor’s own tool or the sign-in already on this Mac — your
claudefor Claude, OpenAI’scodex app-serverfor ChatGPT,ghfor Copilot. Subtank never renews anyone’s sign-in. -
Glance
One number in the menu bar
What is left on the account to use next, labelled as such, and coloured by it: green when full, amber from 40%, red near empty. Click it, or press Option Shift Space, for every limit and when it resets; switch on alerts to hear before you hit one.
02One row
Every limit on one line, and the one that binds.
Each account is a row: its windows, when they refill, and what is left on the one that binds. Claude’s flagship model has a weekly limit of its own, and it gets a bar of its own. When the pace of the last hour would empty a limit within about an hour, the row says so.
The plan, and whose it isAs the vendor reports it, with the nickname you gave the account.
The 5-hour windowThe session limit, on plans that have one: how much of it is used. A bar turns amber at 60% and red at 90%.
The weekly windowThe week’s limit across every model.
Fable’s own weekly limitIt counts when Subtank picks an account, so one with Fable nearly spent is not the one it suggests. A switch in Settings turns that off.
When it refillsA countdown per window, from the vendor’s own reset time.
What’s left, coloured when it gets tightThe tightest window decides it. A failed read keeps the last numbers, and once they are 15 minutes old, their age sits beside them.
About an hour before it runs outAt the pace of the last hour, and only then: never days ahead, and gone once you slow down or stop. Between two close accounts, Subtank suggests the one that lasts.
03Switch
Out of room? Start on the account that has it.
Click “Use next”, or right-click a Claude or Codex row. Subtank points your own Claude Code or Codex at that account’s folder, and never reads, copies or renews a sign-in.
Start Claude Code on itTerminal opens your own
claudein that account’s profile folder. Command-Return in the list does it for the account to use next; on a Codex row it starts Codex.Copy the terminal commandFor a terminal that is already open: one line with a folder in it, no secret.
Switch Cursor’s Claude panel to itOne entry in Cursor’s settings, after you allow it once, with a copy of the file kept first. New conversations in the panel use that account.
Told the moment you hit a limitWith the hook from Settings → Advanced in Claude Code’s settings, a session that hits its limit brings a notification naming the account with room, with Start there and Switch buttons.
Every new session, if you chooseAn option in Settings → Advanced makes a plain
claudein a new terminal start on the account with the most room. It adds one line to your shell profile, after you confirm. A conversation that is running is never moved, and no sign-in is copied.
04What it reads
Plans with limits, credits, keys and bills.
Plans with limits
- Claude Pro · Max · UltraThe weekly window, each model’s weekly limit such as Fable’s, the 5-hour window on plans that have one, and usage credits when they are on.Your own Claude Code — no prompt, no model request.
- ChatGPT · CodexYour plan and its limit, which Codex, Work and the tasks a dot starts all share; credits you bought; a Business workspace’s monthly credit limit; and the resets you have saved, with when each expires. The row says so when Codex pauses included usage.OpenAI’s own
codex app-server. - CursorThe two monthly pools Cursor shows, Cursor models and Other models, then on-demand spend and the billing cycle. The sign-in the Cursor app holds, never renewed. Cursor encrypts it; Subtank decrypts it with Cursor’s key from your Keychain, after you allow it.
- GitHub CopilotAI Credits: a paid plan’s monthly allowance in dollars and anything billed beyond it. On Free, chat and code completions. The GitHub CLI’s token, for one request.
- Ollama CloudSession and weekly limits with their resets, or the monthly credits on newer plans.A key you paste; Ollama’s balance API.
- SyntheticA subscription’s limits, as Synthetic reports them.A key you paste, kept in your Keychain.
- MiniMaxA coding plan’s 5-hour and weekly counts, for each model. The plan’s M Plan API key, pasted.
- NanoGPTA subscription’s daily and weekly limits.A usage-only token: it can read usage and nothing else.
- OpenCode GoThe 5-hour, weekly and monthly limits, with their resets.A key you paste. OpenCode’s own client reads them from an address its documentation doesn’t list yet, so the row is marked experimental.

The same answer where you type.
The subtank command prints what the menu bar shows, and Claude Code can show it under its prompt. subtank claude starts your own Claude Code on the account with room, and says which account, which folder and what is left before it does.

06House rules
Honest numbers, or none.
-
Unknown is —, never 0.
A number the vendor did not give is a dash. A failed read keeps the last numbers; once they are 15 minutes old they are dimmed with their age, and the recommendation stops choosing by them.
-
Your sign-ins stay yours.
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and gh keep and renew their own sign-ins. Cursor encrypts its own, and Subtank decrypts it, in memory, only after you allow it. Removing an account deletes only what Subtank created for it.
-
Nothing happens without a click — except updates.
Alerts stay off until you switch them on. Opening at login, a new account, a browser sign-in: each is a button you press. Updates are the exception: by default a new version downloads by itself and installs when your Mac is idle and no Subtank window is open. Settings → General can make it wait until you quit.
07Privacy
The privacy promise
No account, no telemetry. The only request to a Subtank server is the update check.
