Who makes Subtank

Subtank is made by Deokwon Song and published as a LonelyDuck app. This page says where the answers are, and how to reach a person.

The maker

Subtank started as one person’s itch: paying for more than one AI plan, and switching accounts to find the one with room. It is written and kept up by Deokwon Song, who publishes his Mac apps as LonelyDuck. lonelyduck.io lists the others.

The name is sub(scription) + tank, said SUB-tank. Subtank and the tank icon are the author’s trademarks; the terms say how you may use them.

Getting help

Help answers the questions people ask most: how each service is read, what the menu-bar number means, switching accounts, Keychain prompts, the subtank command, updates and uninstalling. What changed in each version is in the changelog, which you can also follow as a feed.

Something wrong, or a service missing? Open an issue at github.com/subtank-dev/subtank/issues, and say which service it is about and what you saw. Issues are public, so the next person with the same problem finds the answer. Reporting a problem says how to add Subtank’s own report, which carries no emails, names or keys.

Reaching a person

For anything that should not be public — a security problem, or a question about your own data — write to support@lonelyduck.io. It is LonelyDuck’s mailbox, and one person reads it. The same addresses are in security.txt.

Never send a token, an API key, or a file such as auth.json or .claude.json, by mail or in an issue. Nobody working on Subtank will ask for one.
